Doing #NaNoWriMo this year more like my usual writing practice--each day, going over yesterday's writing. Thinking. Iterating. Updating a wiki. Trying to have something good enough to edit later. Not in the true wild spirit of NaNo but it's me now, I think! (Rounding 7k tonight.)

By way of #introduction, I'm a lawyer w/a social justicey past, now working an unglamorous government job (<3 it but can't talk politics in public). I write #scifi and #fantasy & I'm trying to get something out next year for publication. Originally from the SF Bay Area and trying to move back. Recently married, honeymooned in Portugal. Doing #NaNoWriMo for the umpteenth time. I'm a #polyglot and I speak French, Spanish, Italian & Portuguese, in that order. Thanks to fediverse for having me!
