@stroughtonsmith do you think Apple would ever do something similar to Setapp/Apple Arcade/Game Pass for apps?
@stroughtonsmith at the start I thought you were going for something like a desktop Tinkercad or Shapr 3D, I would use that 😊
@stroughtonsmith on a smaller scale this is very possible with subagents today. Working on some projects after being laid off. I have dedicated programmer, QA and PM agents using Gitea (overkill, GitHub is probably better) to track work/issues/PR. With CI/CD i get an artifact/app to test and validate.
@glennf got mine yesterday and did a blind taste test with the kids on a store bought bag. Everyone preferred the “fresh” chips.
@stroughtonsmith I worked for AWS and having essentially unlimited access to Claude models really spoiled me last year. I dabbled with ObjC many moons ago, always wanted to learn Swift (I’m a web dev), but now? I know enough to review the code and have good tests but why bother writing by hand.
@stroughtonsmith certainly not “free” but a loaded Mac Studio can run a decent sized LLM model locally.

@hotdogsladies I pulled a Casey and set up Spoolman on Docker (https://github.com/Donkie/Spoolman) but I like the community data on 3dfilamentprofiles (what a name).

There’s also a pretty decent iOS app for filament tracking https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spool-buddy/id6752347588

@louie saw this a few days ago, said “huh” and moved on. I have a Pulp Fiction poster that I see every day and I’m looking at it, and it does NOT say Pulp Fiction. Turns out: https://artofthemovies.co.uk/blogs/original-movie-posters/pulp-fiction-one-litigious-movie-poster
Pulp Fiction - One Litigious Movie Poster

When Quentin Tarantino's second film opened on 14th October 1994, it began screening at 1,100 U.S. movie theatres. There was one problem - there was something wrong with the movie poster! Twenty-seven years later, the Pulp Fiction movie poster is the subject of a second legal wrangle...

@marcoarment iCloud restore lost my safari tabs as well. I re-restored from encrypted backup and that kept my tabs.
