Absolutely masterful prose.
All journalists should be covering musk like this, instead of writing fluff pieces https://www.sfgate.com/sf-culture/article/elon-musk-nyt-interview-18524602.php
Back in 2012ish when I got my first invite to speak at Future Insights in Las Vegas I stumbled on a group of speakers & attendees gathered in the evening. Turns out it was Molly Holzschlag, holding everyone enthralled with stories about how the web as we knew it came to be. Spent every evening chatting with her that trip, and stayed in touch for a long time. Such a lovely human, and a giant influence on all of us. #RIP Mols 😢

Hey folks! Not sure who else has signed up for this madness, but I just got in off the waitlist for the Tour de Rhody next weekend (the 100km gravel route), so it’s time to get my fundraising act together 😯

An interesting state of the UX report that focuses on Africa (2022): https://yux.design/studies/state-user-research-africa-2022 (shared by Harry ben Bossuki shared)
Many "state of the UX" reports are US/EU oriented, with often little data outside those areas. If you have other reports that are not US/EU focused, feel free to share them in the comments, I'm sure the international community will be happy to get data
The Typographic Medium by Kate Brideau is one of the best books about type I’ve ever read. Practical, philosophical, erudite. Deep research with clear reasoning and examples, it’s incredible.
