A while ago a bought an Ergon SR Comp saddle in small because I thought I needed a narrow saddle. After riding for a year, it did not feel significantly more comfortable than the stock Giant saddle my bike comes with. I've tried Selle Italia SLR Boost SuperFlow, also in small, and that too was not more comfortable than the stock saddle.

I think the reason I wanted to try out new saddles in the first place was wanting to have some branded saddle that purportedly gave superior feel.

Anyways I sold the Ergon and Selle Italia saddle. Going to stick to the scuffed up Giant saddle for now. 😄

As of April 9, I have 488 km of riding on the season (my whole last season was 2000 km) – and a lovely new bike, a Cervélo Caledonia. I went over to the electronic shifting/disc brakes / wide tires cult, and I am not regretting it. I come back from rides so much less fatigued!

It allowed me to go up a cinder trail that I've been avoiding in recent years because it was really rough on my 23mm tires on my Roubaix.
