You know what I would love to see in a handheld PC or a controller? Face buttons with small displays under the buttons to switch the glyphs depending on the emulator or your personal preferences.

Playing an old PlayStation title, or a recent one? The buttons use PS glyphs. Playing an old SNES game? They switch to Nintendo’s layout. Xbox or other PC game? Boom, you have the Xbox layout.

Shouldn’t draw all that much power, especially if they use something like e-Ink with a good light.

Are you addicted to distrohopping?

I tell you the solution: create a distribution. You will not have time to distrohop. Easy.

Here is the first episode of the #Linux and #opensource news podcast!

Compared to the videos, I go into more detail on each topic, and I also talk about more topics than what I can cover in the videos.

It's currently only on the website below, and there's an RSS feed to add it to your client of choice, I'll try and add it to other podcast directories in the future (but Spotify doesn't want it for now, spits out a random error, so it will have to wait).

Linux & Open Source News (@tlenewspodcast) • Activity

Weekly roundup of everything new in the Linux and Open Source world! May contain gaming and privacy related topics. I’ve been using Linux since 2006, starting with Ubuntu (like most people), and I have 12 years of experience in project management and UX, and that’s the lens I use to view the progress of our Linux desktops and open source applications!

Don't forget to tidy your $HOME too.
Just a reminder that if you ask for help somewhere, then reply later with “nvm fixed it” or something to that effect: post the solution too so others can see. It’s frustrating when people don’t do that.
