@radix023 good thing 3 of them are then, but the zooms are fun lol
Moving on up from my one 28-75mm lens :)

@picofarad I believe they don’t like this video because Rossmann started streaming their DMs. https://youtu.be/4To-F6W1NT0

It’s interesting, because in the thread I just linked to they said they were mad at Rossmann for streaming “someone who had just been […] swatted,” so they do recognize that their messages to Rossmann were out of the norm, given the whole situation going on. Yet I’ve never seen anyone at GOS ever go “hey I shouldn’t have messaged you like that, it was a crazy month, let’s figure this out” 🤷‍♂️

Anyways yeah, there are probably more cases since I didn’t check all their posts, but if they handle this list that I could find with quick 5-minute search, I’ll consider that enough of a good faith effort, and I won’t even care about other posts or getting an apology 🙂

Why I deleted GrapheneOS

YouTube

@gcvsa they just don’t like me. And the guy who used to run Calyx (and now runs Phreeli) *really* doesn’t like me either, so I’m out of luck in the Android world no matter which direction I go haha

GrapheneOS is alright though, it’s really the only reasonable way to get a de-Googled Android phone these days, so I’d stick with your plans 👍

Surprise, surprise. T-Mobile acquired my ISP and I’ve had more outages this month than the entire rest of the time I’ve been with them. Monopolies suck ass, it’s insane T-Mobile and AT&T are allowed to scoop local fiber providers up like this.

@centiquetzal 💯🤞

This is why we’ll continue to publish GrapheneOS content with or without their support, but ideally with their support would be better. As we saw with Proton recently, working together benefits everyone involved 💪

@draken not sure that rhetoric helps mend things, to be fair 🤔
Opening LinkedIn and a pop-up asks me how much I enjoy using the platform. Oh LinkedIn, you don’t want to know the answer to that.

Tune in Monday for a fun panel discussion on being a #privacy advocate! I'll be speaking with Nate from @thenewoil and Jonah from @privacyguides

Podcast - Firewalls Don't Stop Dragons

I have a weekly podcast called Firewalls Don't Stop Dragons. The show is a mix of cybersecurity news and interviews of prominent people in the industry. But like the book, the shows are targeted squarely at everyday, non-technical people - covering the info that everyone needs to know in a way that's accessible and practical.

Firewalls Don't Stop Dragons

Apparently, GrapheneOS is "offering forgiveness" to people they are in conflict with.

A few weeks ago I let them know I would be willing to accept if they were willing to remove the many lies and personal attacks they've posted about me over the years, and I provided a short list of a few examples to make it easier for them.

I have not heard back since, but I'm hopeful they will follow through on their efforts to mend our relationship 🙂
