I was quite excited when the first BBC Micro I turned on yesterday seemed to largely work (and the monitor!) I think this message means it doesn’t have a functional BASIC ROM chip? The second Micro just beeped continuously and the Master didn’t seem to do anything. #BBCMicro #weeknotes

Inspired by a friend, and following a summer hike that had us in the clouds, I took advantage of the lovely weather this week and ran up the Snowdon Ranger path to the summit. Funnily enough it was hard work. I’d almost question that I really ran up it given there was a lot of stopping and walking! I made it to the top in under 1.5 hours and completed the run in just over 2.5 hours including a visit to the other nearby trig point on Garnedd Ugain so I’m quite happy with my time. #running
