For me, it's a critical case study of the role of water and violence.
For my Ukrainian colleagues it's much more real and personal. At least one of them has a son who's been fighting with the #Ukraine army for two years.
On today's Kagro in the Morning #KITM: @DemFromCT loves rounding up special election wins! All the better when it flips a seat & disarms Gop issues. Meanwhile, the House wackos managed a 1-vote impeachment. And there's more detail on Chesebro's coup scheming.

⚠️ Reminder: You STILL HAVE UNTIL AT LEAST MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to #GetCovered in nearly every state. Visit HealthCare.Gov or your state's ACA exchange website TODAY!
The 2024 ACA Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is STILL ongoing in 49 states +DC. This is the best OEP ever for the ACA for several reasons: The expanded/enhanced premium subsidies first introduced in 2021 via the American Rescue Plan, which make premiums more affordable for those who already qualified while expanding eligibility to millions who weren't previously eligible, are continuing through 2025 via the Inflation Reduction Act; A dozen states are either launching or expanding their own state-based subsidy programs to make ACA plans even more affordable for their enrollees; Millions more Americans who weren't previously eligible for ACA subsidies (even with the expanded ARP/IRA enhancements) are now eligible via the Biden Administration's closure of the so-called "Family Glitch." And remember, millions of people will be eligible for zero premium comprehensive major medical policies. If you've never enrolled in an ACA healthcare policy before, or if you looked into it a few years back but weren't impressed, please give it another shot now. Thanks to these major improvements it's a whole different ballgame. Here's some important things to know when you #GetCovered for 2024: 1. DON'T DELAY; GET COVERED SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!
So many memories.... "There's two people I think Putin pays...."
The U.S. Supreme Court did little to sway the public’s negative opinion of it by finally conceding it should have a code of ethics. The court is as unpopular as ever and Americans want Congress to investigate the justices and impose new ethics rules on them.
With Republicans’ open war on Social Security, it makes sense for Biden to not only fight it but create an even more pronounced contrast by embracing Social Security expansion. It’s a proven winner for him. He should lead with his strength.
