Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal - Watch

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal - Watch

I’m so tired

of this country.

At university I dated an American lad who was studying in England. Staying at his place once, I went to make a cup of tea in the morning but couldn't find his kettle. He gave me a demonstration of how he made tea in the microwave. Dumped.
IKEA knows it's customer base well
Golang is unusual because in most languages the type system tells you when you made a mistake, but in Golang the type system tells you when Rob Pike made a mistake.

Sent a pull request to Audacity fixing a crash bug I'd been running into frequently. The cause was an out-of-bounds memmove. Classic C++ areas.

Anyway I got a fucking copilot review on my PR which left two comments, both completely wrong, one of which suggesting I reintroduce the out of bounds memory access. I'm furious!

Alchemy is only ever going to get better and it is improving every year.

Soon Alchemy will make goldminers obsolete.

it's 2025 and this is still the funniest security meme.

They're putting blue food coloring in everything.

A short story

I'd scream if I had any energy left...

@gsuberland i bought a xeon e-2286m specifically so i could mess around with sgx lol

(i wish i had the time to actually do that  )

@gsuberland there’s lots I don’t like about intel but releasing SGX then pretending it just neeeded One More Fix Bro for seven years as it got owned over and over was extremely funny
@gsuberland My favorite is when the statement of work explicitly says "SGX side-channels are out of scope"
@gsuberland reminds me of Signal propagating it in their blog as "yet another layer of security"
@SholemAlejchem I mean it's fine for defence in depth I guess, since actually exploiting the side channels does take more engineering resources and may be somewhat noisier (higher CPU usage and such during the prime and probe). but I probably wouldn't build anything new with it today.
@gsuberland I think I have the one time "AI" actually made something better (feel gross saying that)
