It's clearly linked to an account that precedes the, ahem, "agentic AI era", but it also seems the account wwas probably compromised, but everything is unclear, including motivations or the extent of damage.

I stopped buying iPads with cellular ever since I ended up with a good iPhone tethering option.

But man, this seems like a really awesome deal. Even cheaper than some of the daily hotel internet rates I’ve seen.

so if AI is so amazing, why don’t articles and books written with it have huge “proudly made with AI” banners and stickers on it

we all know why

I recently borrowed a book from the library to read to my son before bed. It had a huge sticker on the cover stating "made without AI". Probably because it has a few illustrations in it.

But "no AI was used is really starting to become a mark of quality or at least a mark of something worth looking at.
