Three adult daughters, wife and I not happy with current events

Here's some New Years perspective to start your 2023.

Barbara Walters, Anne Frank, & Martin Luther King, Jr. were all born in 1929. Yet while we were just with Ms. Walters days ago, those two icons are portrayed as ancient history.

But the ideals they fought for weren't in some distant past—they're a contemporary reality we must continue to fight for today. We control that narrative. Let’s keep fighting for that justice in 2023 & beyond.

Remember, "The past is never dead. It's not even past.”

George Santos⁩ keeps giving contradictory explanations for his mystery millions, which he used to finance his House campaign. Read my newest article for his latest story, which doesn’t add up. And please share this one.

The public needs to see his receipts.

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

There are those who look at President Zelensky and the Ukrainians as if the aid request is merely self-serving—as if they don’t grasp that the fight with Putin and Russia is not only for their sovereignty but for NATO and all those who believe in and are dedicated to democracy and justice.
For anyone wondering, I'm still unable to access Twitter until I delete this tweet, which is factual journalism that doesn't even break the location rule Twitter enacted a few days ago. The account isn't marked as suspended anymore, but I can't use it or see tweets from people I follow. Using Mastodon exclusively for now and actually really enjoying it.

If Musk "steps down" as Twitter CEO, per his latest bogus "poll", some things to remember:

1) He'll still be in control. The owner sets the policy the CEO carries out. The owner decides in the end.

2) He lies incessantly. Nothing he says can be trusted, ever.

3) Big Journalism will breathlessly cover the charade as if it meant something, and will continue to support a man who loathes honest reporting and has contempt for genuine freedom of expression.

One of the greatest "How it started/how it's going" examples, EVER.

If you were the world’s richest man, wouldn’t you want to use all that wealth to bring people together rather than exacerbate conflict and pain?

Jeffrey Clark's memoir, hastily written in Notes app, is hard-scrabble tale of "young deplorable in Philadelphia” rising to upper echelon of TreasonWorld™

no really.

Court Reveals Details In DOJ Probe Of Rep. Scott Perry

Federal prosecutors obtained more than 130,000 email messages in a Jan. 6-related investigation that appears to be focusing on Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), newly released court filings show. In particular…

With each new surge of Mastodon users, I feel the need to point out:

1. Welcome!

2. There is a learning curve here, but most people find it short and not very steep. Play around, explore. You'll get it.

3. Lots of people are willing to help.

4. Yes, it's different than Twitter. Sometimes in good ways, sometimes not. But you'll figure it out.

5. With surges especially, things sometimes get slow/glitchy, but they usually get fixed pretty quick.

Be patient.
