@YolandaFay That has not been my experience this week playing on multiple servers. It’s been pretty much open arms. Just ignore that poster. The fediverse dies without an expanding user base.
Problem with making music is less time listening to it...
Soprano Sax is the Yamaha DX7 of woodwinds.

#introduction time!

I'm Alison, a music obsessive with a penchant for #songwriting, #MusicTheory, #ElectronicMusic, and #guitar.

I also partake in some #writing and #blogging. For work I make websites for #artists, #ArtsOrganizations, and small/medium-sized businesses.

I've been away from social media for about ten years b/c in its corporate forms it is incredibly damaging. I'm hoping that #mastodon has managed to bring some humanity to social media!

@Key_of_Dm I’m obsessed with her. First album is perfect. New one is great too.

Just discovered Madison Cunningham at a recent gig in DC.. she was incredible, massive talent

@mattly I’m a big Fairfield Circuity fan as well. Love my Meet Maude and Four Eye Fuzz. Mostly using them in the studio these days.
@jimmyether @Roofhare just chiming in that I think the Collider is a totally brilliant pedal. I have three Source Audio pedals on my board right now, love em all. And yep, you can change the order in the excellent software! (One thing I love about their pedals is the software, actually. It's been extremely reliable for me, and it's so powerful! And of course they sound ridiculous.)

@mattly @Roofhare @flavigula

Fun thread! @mattly I love that shelf setup! Some gems in there too.

Here's my current pedal board. All the stereo effects in the front are running through my patchbay, so I can patch anything and everything through them using the reamp box. The mono effects in the back are pretty much just for guitar. Then the JHS preamp serves a lot of purposes, including live vocals and lots of Tempest kick drum recording in the studio.
