A friend of mine asked if I could make a football hat for his goddaughter. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up charting out a #knitting pattern based on the 49ers logo with lil footballs along the crown. The perfectionist in me sees a lot of room for improvement — my tension was not the best, etc— but ultimately I’m proud I was able to make this pattern myself and do the most complicated strand management I’ve attempted so far. Now to just hope it fits the birthday girl! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻#fiberarts

I’m making progress on these two scarves I’m #knitting for my sister and her girlfriend but man oh man is this going slow! I got spoiled with the super bulky scarf I made for my mom earlier. I do really like the look of this herringbone stitch, though! #handmade

I had to go into the office today for the first time in a while (and the first time since I switched from reporting to the office of tech services to the office of labor), so I got a new badge. It has big #graphicdesignismypassion energy.

After a  ride to the dog park in #BackBay, a  back to the #JamaicaPlain farmers market, and a leisurely walk to #SmallBusinessSaturday shopping at Papercuts then home, Sammy and I fully embraced a #SleepySaturday.

Three years ago I met tiny baby Sammy for the first time, when she picked me by licking my face all over. She didn’t come home for a couple more weeks, but I was fully in love from that moment on. #corgi #corgipuppy #gotchaday #puppy #bostondogs #dogs
