Got out for a #fatbike ride. Some trails smoothly groomed and then there was this one, frozen crunch that “usually” supported bike/rider weight, until it didn’t. 😂

We're never sure "how much snow is too much". This storm left about 20" and originally this week's forecast was for another foot. Now it's a little more snow, then rain and 50's Friday. Which you'd think would melt it, but snow is like a sponge up to a certain point and just as likely to turn into a heavier, frozen block that'll be impossible to remove. Probably be clearing some today.

After these big storms there no chance to #fatbike until trails get cleaned and packed down. Think of it like yard work in someone’s forest. Along the way some nice ice and snow fleas (springtails).

An appropriate #Caturday given the last twenty four hours. 22” of fresh snow, 13” on driveway and he decides it’s time for adventure!

Another 16 hours left in the storm.
