I'm moving instances from mastodon.cloud to wandering.shop. Same user name.

I'm working through the process of making the change official, but leaving this here in case it doesn't go smoothly :-)

Mad Times: John Crowley's Little, Big to have 25th Anniversary Edition

O. M. G. I posted about the announcement of this crowd-funded edition of #LittleBig when it was announced at Potlatch in March of 2004. 19 years later I have a copy. Awed congratulations to Ron Drummond and everyone else who persevered to make it happen.

I am delighted to announce that The Fortunate Fall will be reissued as a Tor Essential trade paperback in mid-2024. (Exact release date to be determined.)

The book will be published under my new name but the old one will be on the cover in smaller type, to help people reconnect with the book.

This is the best way for the book to come back into print I could have hoped for and I am over the moon. #CamWriting

I know an old punk
whose pierced nose
remains hidden
behind the N95 mask
he dutifully wears
and when I ask him
if he still wears it
because his aesthetic
has never cared for norms
he replies that he wears it
because nothing is more punk
than giving a shit
about other people.

My plan is also to develop a project about long Covid and to see if mucosal immunity is different between people who fully recovered following Covid, and people who did not fully recover. In every country we need long-term resources and funding to pursue this type of research.
