There are 42 states where you can register to vote online, these are the ones where you can't:

Arkansas
Mississippi
Montana
New Hampshire
North Dakota
South Dakota
Texas
Wyoming

If you've seen websites suggesting that you can register online in those states, that is a voter suppression technique, specifically targeting younger voters who are much more likely to vote progressively. If you live in any of these states, make sure you can vote, it usually must be done by mail or in person.

Just a casual reminder that Germans who “didn’t bother to vote” in 1932 didn’t get a chance again until 1946, after Hitler’s death. — There’s a lesson there.
@Patreon Don’t negotiate with terrorists (Apple.) You’re saying you care more about them than us creators. And that means I can no longer trust you and will be looking for a way out. Don’t make users pay 30% more, or I lose income. Loss/loss, just so Apple can get richer. App provides nothing.
Just to let you know, June is procrastination awareness month.

@overcastfm Just installed the update that adds Shortcuts support, but Current Episode Info is “unimplemented”.

I’d love to have a Shortcut do custom things depending on what I’m listening to.

@overcastfm I just subscribed to a new podcast. When going into the episode list from the Home Screen list of all podcasts, it’s unclear what episodes are downloaded.
@overcastfm On the new version, I can no longer ship back past the Skip Intro. Sometimes a odcast that’s usually 1hr with 2min intro will have a short 15min ep with no intro, or a 3min trailer ep. I can’t “undo” the skip intro for these episodes anymore.
@overcastfm Feature request: reverse sort “Show recent episodes”. I’m a completionist never with more than 10-15 shows, and I always listen oldest first. I want to use that new feature primarily, but scrolling to the end first adds friction.
@ismh86 @[email protected] @ismh Moving reminders via menu bar also means you can use System Settings → Keyboard and create a keyboard shortcut. Like, ⌘⌥G moves to Grocery List.
You love to see it.
