“Beta” is not a mask you can hide behind. It is not an excuse. I can expect some level of broken things. I can accept those things. But the amount of broken things does not inspire confidence they can fix them before their own deadline.

I think it’s crazy that Alan Dye had no experience with UI design before being thrust into a position of power over platform design, affecting millions of apps at a global scale.
