I’m guessing the Venn diagram of those who were pissed “woke” liberals started giving away participation trophies in kids sports and those who will be fine with Trump accepting a Nobel Peace medal he didn’t win is basically a circle.

After 3 years at Shopify, I was just told they’re letting me go, so I'm now looking for my next role. Remote preferred but also open to hybrid/in-person roles (Boulder/Denver metro). If you know anyone who’s hiring, I’d love to connect! Boosts much appreciated 🙏

A bit about me: 8+ years of experience, primarily in backend. Most recently worked on Shopify’s checkout platform, focusing on Shop Pay, used by millions of shoppers and handles billions in transactions annually.

Hi! If you're an iOS developer and willing to speak with me on the record, I want you! I'm hoping to talk with a few folks about the coming “accessibility nutrition labels” feature coming this year and whether you'll use, what you think, etc. I'd like to turn our conversations into a story for my website.

Please share and get in touch if you're interested!

Today has been a long time coming for us at SmallCubed.

For a number of years we have been working on MailMaven (https://mailmaven.app): A new macOS email client that picks up where we left off after Apple killed Mail Plugins.

Today we are opening access to a wider audience than our small group of private beta testers.

I could say more but @joekissell is much better at words than me: https://www.takecontrolbooks.com/introducing-mailmaven-a-better-mac-email-app (Joe has been advising us for a long time on Maven.)

One of those days where I’m not regretting my decision to cut back on the whole Apple community social media thing one bit.

Been telling people this for decades. Bigger cars are NOT safer. Anyone who spends five minutes thinking about the physics can easily figure that out.

The Economist: Big, Heavy Cars Are Killing More People – Pixel Envy

The Economist: So how big is too big? At what point do the costs of the heaviest vehicles — measured in lives lost — vastly exceed their benefits? To answer this question, The Economist compiled ten years’ worth of crash data from more than a dozen states. Like the data compiled by Messrs Anderson and […]

Say 👋 to our brand new brand!

Inspired by our 15+ years of history, and looking to our future, we decided it was time for a fresh coat of paint…

So the same brain trust that convinced Bernie to drop out in favor of Hillary has now pushed a successful incumbent President out in favor of? Oh wait? They haven’t decided yet.

Gotta hand it to the Democrats. The Washington Generals of politics.
