Guess who almost got job scammed this week? This gal! Luckily I had a lot of phishing training at an old jobs. Many mini-red flags: e-mail was from .career rather than their .com. Never talked to anyone via phone/video until job offer. No internet presence for either recruiter.

I didn’t give them info (whew), but this was a VERY good spoof. Called the company to verify & they were apologetic & now seeking action.

#jobseekers be aware. Trust your gut! Do your research!! Be careful out there!!

What it really does is two things

1. Make the policy & ability to take PTO vague so it can be abused by mgmt and impossible for employees to sue about easily
