In an unusual lawsuit members of an Ohio county sheriff’s department sued over songs and social media posts by Afroman

that criticized the guns-drawn 2022 raid on his property, which yielded no charges.

The case claimed the videos were false and caused the officers "severe emotional distress".

But Afroman,
known for his 2000 hit “Because I Got High,”
testified at trial that he had a First Amendment right to mock the officers,
-- particularly after they smashed down his door for ultimately no reason:

“All of this is their fault, and they have the audacity to sue me"

This regime declaring that it is ending immigration crackdowns in Minnesota, is an utter lie.

They cannot un-murder people, they cannot piece together the families they have disappeared and destroyed, and they cannot delete the trauma they have left in our communities. They have committed generational terror.

The same happened for Los Angeles and will for every single city and neighborhood.

Fewer ICE agents does not mean ICE is gone. We keep going until we abolish ICE completely. Forever.

Nvidia and openAI are talking about building a 10GW data centre.

So. We gots a big number. Let's look at it.

How much is 10GW? Well the UK has a typical day time electricity consumption of ~40GW. Meaning that this one single data centre is looking to use the same amount of electricity as a quarter of the UK. In a single installation. A quarter of the electricity of the 6th largest economy in the world. A single data centre.

Or put another way. It needs power from 3x sizewell C nuclear plant.

Me: I've read thousands of medical studies and tracked data on infections, Long COVID, disabilities, and illnesses, and I think you should be concerned about COVID reinfections.

I'm tired of spending $$$/month on streaming services, only to find the titles I want to watch cost extra. I'm starting to use the library more and more, and for the ones they don't (yet) have, I'm seriously thinking about buying, watching, and then donating the DVD/Blu-Rays.
