Shaders in a UI design tool? This is really damn cool. Could become very repetitive when everyone starts using a limited set of preset shaders, but I'm sure they are working on that.
#design #shaders #paperThis is the color picker Figma should have shipped 4 years ago.
Paper (
https://paper.design/) kinda is what Figma's AI integration should have been. Capable MCP server on top of a solid design tool that is based HTML+CSS instead of creating a gap between design and code.

Paper β design, share, ship
Paper is a modern and powerful design tool that helps you create, share, and ship your best work.
PaperWell today I learned there is a separate scale CSS property that basically does the same as transform: scale(), but does not interfer with other transforms. Pretty nieche, but useful when you need it.
Weekend project: completely rebuilt the house build cost breakdown page of our little blog. Now with more data, more visualizations and more fun!

Costs
All construction costs for our single-family house in Germany in the year 2024-2026 broken down by trades.
Hanglage No. 8Just added a bunch of loose screens of applications Iβve recently designed to my website:
https://telary.studio/indices/ Still need to add some actual case studies for these...

250 Images / Telary Studio
A chaotic, but beautiful view of the full range of our work, including our most recent and oldest projects.
I like reading and I like data visualizations. So why not convert the books I've read into stacked bar charts?
Each year has its own book stack with the books I've read. The height indicates the number of pages.
It's now part of my books subpage! π

Alright my web friends! π Hands up who has experienced a surge in (LLM) bot traffic recently and maybe even had to take steps against them? Iβm writing a blog post about this atm and it would be great to hear whether others are experiencing the same with their
#blogs and personal
#websites.

Someone at this pen company went to my website, downloaded a) my logo and b) the font I use (I donβt use both together anywhere), stitched them together and sent me an unasked for sample. Nice try and thanks for then pen.
Iβd really like to just document everything of life in Obsidian, but I absolutely fail with that. Somehow I always fall back to just dumping notes into the Notes app, write articles in loose Google Docs, etc. No idea how to change these habits.
