TIL: the {bench} package for high precision timing of #RStats expressions, tracking execution time, memory allocations and garbage collections.
Mike Mahoneyapropos of nothing, if you're into #rstats and care about reproducibility, you should definitely look into the {targets} and {renv} packages if you haven't
general consensus from everyone I show them to: "Wow, I wish I started using these two years ago."
