And, I threw together a quick dashboard for VulnCheck's KEV: https://vckev.hrbrmstr.app/

Gotta figure out how to notice when they publish a new one.

We πŸ’š hearing how folks are building with Framework! β€œThe key differentiator for me with Observable Framework vs. other static site generators is the data loader functionality...I can easily build loaders in whichever programming language I need to.”

Ok, so I had a lot of fun yesterday playing around with @observablehq Frameworks. Actually managed to prototype a little network visualization prototype for a project.
Also, I discovered that the time spent on coding in #rstats and Python finally seems to pay off for interacting with a new(ish) language. I was able to throw together some JavaScript and understood (somewhat 🀣) what I was doing.
Data loading using R worked flawlessly! πŸ₯³

ICYMI, we’ve made huge updates to Observable Framework since launching in February, including:

- Windows support
- Support for Node 18 and self-hosted npm imports
- SQL code blocks powered by DuckDB
- Enhanced search capabilities

In our new blog post, learn about data loaders in Observable Framework, and why we see them as a "win-win-win" for building data apps and dashboards β€” a win for polyglot developers and teams, a win for performance, and a win for decision-makers: https://observablehq.com/blog/data-loaders-for-the-win
Data loaders for the win

Learn why Observable Framework's data loaders are a "win-win-win" for building richer, faster data apps: a win for polyglot teams, a win for performance, and a win for decision-makers.

Observable

Finally had a mo' to run `npm run deploy` on an Observable Framework project (the one from the Drop the other day).

Twas an incredibly painless experience.

Very excited to be a part of this Observable panel with @allison_horst & @deepsha !

Honestly, this is mostly an excuse for me to spend more time geeking out about data viz with two of my favorite people. Humbled to share the same space with these talented women.

Look forward to chatting, hope to see you there πŸ™‚
