Some good log stacks at Slaley Forest this morning, but you wouldn't think they needed to be so bleeding obvious about the labelling, would you?

It was a bit grim up at Slaley Forest this morning, but the dog didn't seem to mind.
Could barely see where I was going to start with, the sleet was just reflecting the headtorch beam straight back at me, but it got light enough that I could turn it off and still pick my way around the worst of the mud.
@ivan_t_dog didn't even object to having his robe on for the journey home; that's how bad it was.
Apparently the treats aren't being provided at the requisite frequency. If he had a phone, he'd already be calling the RSPCA.
Helping Mam in the shop today. All these last-minute Christmas shoppers have got me absolutely exhausted; obviously I had to check them all out and make sure they gave me a proper fuss.
Distinctly unimpressed by the lack of treats though. Don't they know it's nearly Christmas? 🎄🐾
Great run round a very dark Slaley Forest this morning, feeling so much faster and fitter than last time thanks to the magic hands of Dawn at Canine Mechanics!
Dad says: he's running faster for longer, recovering quicker, and no noticeable limp at the end. It's taken years off him. Thanks, Dawn!

A8. The weather went suddenly wintery here, so I took advantage of the conditions to get out for a snowy canicross run in Slaley Forest. Here's @ivan_t_dog waiting for me to stop faffing about with the camera and get on with the running thing.
I was hoping to get out there on the mountain bike yesterday, but there weren't enough hours in the day, and it's all melted again now.
