@ceejbot I go back and forth on this so much. I run a junit-report-processing-as-a-service and I wrote a trivial GitHub action for it because it seemed like a better option than having folks use the CLI directly. The Action is basically just a wrapper around the CLI, but it looks “actiony”.
@hazelweakly Yes! I’ve been quietly making the argument for awhile that e.g. k8s vs lambda were the wrong abstraction layer for product engineers. Folks building things should be able to focus primarily on business logic and not have to make decisions based on whether that logic runs in a FAAS, k8s, or Apache. I can totally see expanding that further to where even clis and desktop apps are valid targets.

We could have saved a lot of trouble if we’d just put Trump in prison in the 80’s, back when he first started committing crimes.

There’s a good lesson in that about Musk.

Searching for something on the Web, I ended up on a page that had clearly been generated by #ChatGPT or something similar: a plausible, authoritative, detailed post that was, from start to finish, total bullshit. On inspection, the entire site turned out to be similar #AI-generated clickbait.

There needs to be a zero-tolerance, one-strike-and-you're-out #SEO death penalty for this kind of thing. Post AI nonsense & you never get indexed again.

The Web won't survive otherwise.
