Please boost this here and outside of Mastodon so that pregnant people in the United States are informed that using Meta/Threads is dangerous.
I'm unlikely to get pregnant but I have ZERO presence on Meta/Facebook/Instagram/Threads as a matter of principle.

my only complaint is that this bug affects mastodon, and so it's highly unlikely there are people in corporate settings being forced to gravely discuss mitigating "tootroot"

Nobody should be using GPT detectors for anything important.
From a recent study that found that GPT detectors were misclassifying writing by non-native English speakers as AI-generated 48-76% of the time (!!!), compared to 0%-12% for native speakers.

Please do not be a fool who trusts ChatGPT with anything outside your field of expertise, and even then double or triple check what it tells you if you must use it.
