@mrmasterkeyboard I used ksh on an AIX Unix server at work a few years ago. It was probably a pretty old version and it was quite limited.
@lawas I’ve moved from thinking there was a historical figure, to Mythicist, and have settled on Jesus being a legendary character. The earliest amounts are a generation later, there was probably a real person or two or three. Acts makes it sound like there was a Jewish sect that followed a Jesus and Paul came up with his own thing, and they had a meeting where they merged the two.
@enobacon @spv @malwaretech @rcs @parkingreform An apartment building was recently fished one block from my kids school which got an exemption from the city’s parking requirements. It’s not in a walkable part of town, so it hasn’t filled and the residents park curbside which competes with pickup and drop off at the school since the vast majority of students aren’t eligible for bussing. We need infrastructure first.

@[email protected] There are two factors at play here: Core system and desktop environment. Mint is based on Ubuntu which is based on Debian. Ubuntu Cinnamon has the Ubuntu core with the DE from Mint. While Mint has Cinnamon plus all of Mint’s tweaks to the Ubuntu core. Which is better is nuanced and up to user choice.
