Python 3.14 rebuild status page in Fedora

Over 90% #Python packages in #Fedora were built successfully with Python 3.14.

The biggest blocker for the rest seems to be pydantic.

Python 3.14 rebuild status page in Fedora

Happy Father’s Day to all dads both here and there.

So after we switched to #Python 3.14 in #Fedora Rawhide, the compose is blocked by https://github.com/osbuild/osbuild/issues/2109 thus likely no Python 3.14 as python3 in the repositories yet.

Looks like a breaking change in configparser with no depreciation period, no mention in What's New, non-actionable exception, and no much recent discussion either 😞 https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/65697#issuecomment-2964520637

osbuild failures with Python 3.14: configparser.InvalidWriteError: Cannot write key that contains delimiters · Issue #2109 · osbuild/osbuild

@hroncok @frenzy aaaand merged! 🎆 Maintainers can stop holding the breath and build in Rawhide again.
Doing this during the #FlockToFedora conference and with Miro's indisposition has certainly been a new level of the challenge.

Looking at the laptop screen at night with no surrounding ambient light is uncomfortable.

I struggled with the 2 low settings of brightness: a blank display (0%) or lasers into my eyes (10%).

`brightnessctl set 1%` is good.

Now I've figured out that #Xfce can change the number of steps (from the default 10). Moreover, it supports exponential steps (more natural for the human eye).

With 27 exponential steps, the first 10 options are "almost 0%". Perfection!

When I could not come to #FlockToFedora, my teammates (@karo and others) visited me in the hospital instead to lift my spirit. Thanks!
@johnmark @jednorozec Hope not. If it is I will not send my team to it. We're talking about a range of alternatives right now, and I would recommend everybody who is interested in the answer to fill in the user and contributor survey (expect it to be published shortly)
I'm at a hospital. So probably no #FlockToFedora this year. I am so incredibly sad.
