My column about apps on Mastodon appears in print today. I'm told it did very well on the web after publishing on Friday. It got MANY boosts and Favorites here on Mastodon (thank you!), so I assume that's where a lot of traffic came from. The McDonald’s US regional president says a California proposal forcing businesses to pay a living wage is “job destroying”

He made $7.4 million last year.

McDonald’s has lucrative real estate holdings world wide and added to their assets with $15 BILLION in PPP funds distributed to the fast food giants

If you can’t pay a living wage and rely on the taxpayer to make you viable then you have a garbage business model

And I don’t want to pay for it.
