IWD can feel kind of weird sometimes. I see it's normal in places like US/UK (or the parts where I've interacted with them) to congratulate or wish a happy day to a woman. Congrats on being not a male, I guess?
What disonates with me about it is that (IMO) IWD is more of a reminder that there's still work to do so that women are not at a disadvantage. That there's been progress towards it, but that's yet not good enough.
A friend, @chloetankahhui has been speaking up against the proposal to enforce age verification at the OS level, and the QRTs to this shows the extent of naivety that a lot of people have.
No one who does hardware security believes that any system is bulletproof, but do you really think that circumventing these things will always be a simple firmware mod or hardware hack?

Watching the #WinterOlympicGames in UK (#BBC) made me realize how much more I enjoy the Mexican transmission. Over here the presenters can be a bit harsh to some of the athletes, but the Mexican commentators have been rooting for basically everyone so far, on every single sport.
