It's always scary to see how much influence this one man has. I've heard the narrative from younger folks that he's a "self made billionaire" which I feel is super misleading.

I wish we had a better way to get everyone on the same page about rich people on the global stage.

Appreciate the help! I've been dabbling with both #Lemmy and #kbin but am still figuring out how to navigate that space. It seems to be growing rapidly though, so I'm excited to see that and hope I can contribute somehow.

I'm a pretty adventurous player but I like the Standard format the most, glad they're trying to revive it some. I'm not immune to commander though.

I'm mostly a python dev but learned on Java and love C. Currently trying to learn rust and maybe contribute to #lemmy

Hello!

I'm another displaced redditor discovering the fediverse for the first time. I wasn't big on social media but I think I found the whole central data control thing to be a turn off. Curious to see if I can participate more in this world.

I'm into #programming, #games, #mtg and #fitness. Also, if someone can help me figure out how to get #nfl news and memes ala reddit, I would appreciate that :)
