Surely professionalism in any role is precisely about using your skills in decisions that might affect other peopleās lives, even life and death decisions: doctors, police, drivers, architects. You are required to be acutely aware of the balancing required and be prepared to justify your actions, in court if necessary. I hope any armed police officer who feels unable to do that hands in their permit.

Retracted research papers continue to be cited after retraction, such as Wakefields paper on autism and vaccines, some including this have received more citations *after* being retracted! #RetractionWatch
Iāll be having my flu vaccine this Autumn, so why not Covid also? I managed to avoid Covid till January 2023 as far as I know and the impact of catching it has been material. Being self-employed I will take time off if ill but Iād rather mitigate that risk with a vaccine.
Why arenāt we all being offered an autumn Covid booster? We canāt let cost prevent us keeping Britain healthy.
