Got a nice Christmas gift.
@charlie_epsilon I play in and love long-running 5e and 1st Ed campaigns. I hope reason prevails. Obviously, writers, artists and designers getting paid is good. But there are gross ways to wreck the hobby.
@charlie_epsilon earnestly curious…what direction is 5e going that is undesirable?
I’m still playing weekly in two D&D campaigns with friends, one of which is #dnd5e and one of which is #osr 1st edition. Both wildly fun in different ways. Last night involved gifting (the) Dragon Magazine #12 to my old school DM, here. Yay, #ttrpg, yay holiday #dnd.

InstagramA couple of weeks ago, I once again deleted the FB and Twitter apps from my phone (…still struggling to let go of IG, which I am starting to hate because of ‘reel’ time-wasting). Checking Twitter on a PC, aside from all the chaos there, I was shocked at how it made me feel. Everything - whether I liked/supported it or not - elicited some kind of excitement/anger…just a spike that in retrospect felt toxic and exhausting. I know, I know. Designed to elicit that response. Anger equals engagement.
