FWIW: Many #Xers have lived through DOS, Dial-up, BBS, computer monitors heavier than a car, floppy disks, dot matrix printers, and Kings Quest. So we have some tech skills and learning something a little techie like #Mastodon is neither bothersome nor a big leap.

No, I'm not an apologist, it's not about respect. (Though an argument could be made about respecting people's names even if we hate the person!) I just want my filters to work so I don't have to read anything about him, and when you do a new creative misspelling of his name I have to be reminded he exists again.
I’m sick & tired of pretending that people still willingly using Twitter aren’t enabling this.
Every tweet, every login, every like is fueling his reach and god complex. If everyone who doesn’t support him would just leave the platform, he would have no choice but to reconsider how he is behaving & who he is platforming.
