Upon the shore
From ocean’s roll and roar
They blow.
Salty scent and mists they stir.
The heaven that I know.
Gold grain wealth
The false facade
With skin and bone below.
Lament old stocks from land and sea
When prevailing winds they blow

OTD in 1986, the Bears beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. I was 13 and stayed up with my dad to watch it. He died suddenly a few months later. Watching that match with him, just father and son, is my strongest memory of my dad. Miss you, mate. Love you. 🙏❤️🏈 #life #family
