Specsavers in Oslo brought a popcorn machine and pre-popped popcorn for their promotion.
I guess it makes sense not to have an extension cord and hot glass in the cold rain.
Still seems a little deceptive about the source and freshness of the popcorn, but hopefully participants can get themselves glasses to see through their lies
A few weeks ago @notjustbikes released a video on Klinkers, the standardized bricks used for paving in the Netherlands. Today, on a bike ride near Sint Michielsgestel (near 's-Hertogenbosch), I found odd 'ribbed' klinkers used as lane markers in the bike lane.
Just because I'm a weirdo, I made a 3D model of the klinker, and subsequently an animation of it.
Gif Attached, but if that doesnt work: https://garrettspeed.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/ribbedanimatedpleasure_i30o5.gif

With the continuation of Sentinel 2A, yesterday we got a cloud free nationwide image of the Netherlands!
I went hiking along a stream today in Noord-Brabant, and found some tree stumps with conical top ends. This is pretty good evidence of beavers, but when I was looking at the stumps I struggled to discern the teeth marks. So I made a 3D model of the stump, and that made it clear, these were definitely gnawed on by a beaver!. Check out the 3D model on sketchfab below
I was hiking along the Esschestroom near Halden, in Noord Brabant, the Netherlands, and I found tree stumps with a conical shape. Strong evidence for the presence of beavers, but I wasn’t sure. With the help of photogrammetry, the teeth marks become much easier to discern. - Beaver Tree Stump 2 (Halden, NB, NL) - 3D model by gspeed0689
