A new walking and cycling bridge in ’s-Hertogenbosch opened in April—but closed again after just over a week due to unexpected vibrations.

I recently rode the nearly finished F270 between Helmond and Eindhoven — a route my family once cycled daily to work in the 1950s.
This route is finally taking shape as a continuous cycle route.

A replacement bridge for cycling and walking was put in place last week in ’s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands). It arrived by road: transporting the 43 m-long deck required temporary road closures and the removal of traffic signs and signals.

A long-awaited bicycle parking garage has opened in 's-Hertogenbosch, last Monday.
Space for 1,000 bicycles in the former hospital area, with two-tier racks, a gentle ramp and even a bicycle lift.

Antwerp’s central station is often called one of Europe’s most beautiful railway stations. But what about parking your bicycle there? In this one-minute short, you even see me for a change, walking a bicycle down the ramp and parking it inside the station.
