It's going to be a tough day for Twitter folks and their families with Musk's layoffs. One silver lining is that anyone leaving the company doesn't have to be a part of the trainwreck that is Musk's vision of Twitter.

A recent TuYa API change broke my basement light automations. I had become too reliant on third parties for problems that could easily be solved locally. I have deprecated all of my TuYa wifi light bulbs and replaced them with Zigbee. TuYa wifi offerings are a great gateway into home automation, my neighbour will make good use of these light bulbs.
