Marc HedlundCyclists are portrayed in debates about bike lanes as younger, athletic people. Berkeley's Commission on Aging recommended against supporting the city's current bike lane project (#Hopkins), apparently thinking bike lanes were not for older people.
And yet, over the past eleven years, the median age of the six cyclists and pedestrians severely injured or killed on Hopkins is 69. Only one of those people was under 50. The oldest was 78.
The stereotypes are wrong.
I've been thinking about this since I stood up my #honk instance. It's so lightweight, doing a #PostmarketOS or #Termux install, maybe hooking it to the planet via #Tailscale or #Headscale, and seeing how well it performs and how long it runs. I think my old phone has more storage and compute than the GCP "Always Free" tier. 🤔

Bo + 🎞️📷 vs. 🌎I had an order with boxes of expired Provia 400, thinking they might come out decent. However, most of them were duds, and color shifted so severely that it wasn't worth sharing. However, this one shot came out amazing. Love the color.
