The European Commission is proud to launch the Influencer Legal Hub, a free library of resources on European consumer law applicable to influencers who are based in or engage with audiences in the European Union. This first of its kind initiative was developed in collaboration with academic experts. The library includes a collection of short animated training videos, supported by a range of other resources designed to make the law more accessible to influencers, their agents and managers as well as the general public. As the official launch of the Influencer Legal Hub, this webinar brings together representatives of the European Commission, academic experts, journalists, national consumer authorities and organisations, as well as industry representatives, who will present and discuss the Influencer Legal Hub, and address the importance of compliance with EU consumer protection laws.
