For those of you wringing your hands for the last few days over the silence of one of the fabled Voyager spacecraft, launched in 1977 to the outer solar system & beyond, you can chill now.
After finding a faint signal coming from Voyager 2 despite its mis-orientation, #NASA made an attempt to communicate with the spacecraft. And it worked!!
Read on & be happy that we'll be hearing from deep space for some time to come.

What struck me most about traveling recently is the importance of the social contract. In Europe, for the most part, social rules are adhered to. Yes there is very little extreme poverty, and yes there is very little crime, but if we all stick to the social contract then we CAN all have nice things. It starts with leadership. SA’s government’s biggest flaw is its inability to obey the rules. It sets a precedent for the rest of us. It’s our greatest tragedy
