This is terrific...and much deserved.
Look, if you have to add extra code to ensure that your app or platform performs worse when interacting with a device or platform you don't own, or additional code/effort is used to prevent the other device/platform from working with yours, you have obviously undermined competition.
Welp, the ActivityPub plugin does in fact appear to work, so that has itself going for it. I’m not entirely sold on the idea of “status”ing via WP, but, we’ll see.
Also, the title on “Status” type posts, does not show on a WP page and neither does it show up in Mastodon. 🤷🏻♀️
So, WordPress added ActivityPub support
I’m just demoing it out and seeing what it do be like. Anyway, here’s a link in case you were interested.
