Jeffrey Yasskin@paul This is an important question to keep iterating on as the #W3C moves into its new era of having a board of directors, and the #W3CAB starts focusing more on their Vision work (https://github.com/w3c/AB-public/tree/main/Vision). Us browser folks have been biased toward "practical" #WebStandards that get implemented in browsers, but #ActivityPub is proof that the more aspirational server<->server ones can be important too.

@mbergnordlie I feel your pain. If it makes you feel any better, I actually sang this to an elderly janitor in my office (completely unknowingly - I had my AirPods in at the time) and I haven’t been able to look him in the eye since. I don’t know who felt more awkward, him or me - but I do now have a load of staff who regularly sing it at me when I walk in…#HowNotToMakeAGoodImpression
