@MLE_online my parents used to have a 70s diesel Rabbit with an extra fuel tank. I could drive it from L.A. to San Francisco and back again without needing to refill. The engine had 48 HP and topped out at about 85 MPH. When you turned on the air conditioner the car quite noticeably slowed down

@joeycastillo I would first check if the manufacturer has 3d models for the variation you want. Then I'd check snapeda.com. Then, since tact switch are often pretty interchangeable, I'd check Mouser or Digikey for another compatible part that has a 3d model. Then I look at grabcad.com to see if someone else has built a model already. And finally if none of those pan out, I use FreeCAD to edit it.

@MLE_online one place that I lived had wall-to-wall carpeting in the bathroom and kitchen! That was one of the first things that I removed

@alpenglow the first circuit we made was a continuity tester circuit. It was just resistors and an NE-2 neon bulb. We built it on the breadboard to learn about the circuit and then we'd take it apart and solder the parts to a PCB for a more permanent build. The PCB also had sockets so that we could test the filaments of a few different tubes.

@MLE_online what if I had a pet lizard? Could I get its reptilian DNA removed or enhanced? I'm thinking of it were enhanced, it would end up like Godzilla. I'm not sure what would happen if it were removed. An amoeba? Invisible? A being of pure energy?
