Decided I'm going to go ahead with my Kbin mobile app.

Yeah I know i have a lot on the go, but I use Apollo daily, and want a solid Apollo like experience for Kbin.

I'm willing to hand over the project to Kbin if they want, and would love to work closely with the developer on this if possible.

Will be starting this next week, after my camping trip! It will be open source from the start, and contributors will be gladly welcomed! #kbin

@atomicpoet Just playing devil’s advocate here… from what I hear people say, it seems to be largely about the level of said feats, the level of athleticism, the level of excitement … people say it’s just not as high. I don’t speak for myself here because I hardly watch any sports at all so any opinion I could have really isn’t qualified.

Know what I find annoying about life? The fact that I have to work to feed myself and can’t devote all my time to contributing to open-source projects … like #kbin and #pixelfed and my own libraries and so much more. There’s so much I want to do, so little time.

I've seen quite a few people on Reddit saying this key thing, which is preventing them leaving:

“I'm interested in all these different things: motorbikes; Nicki Minaj; embroidery; vegan food. Reddit has all those communities in one place with one login. I don't want to have to go to a bunch of different websites to follow my interests”

It is absolutely crucial that we explain to those people that the Fediverse SOLVES THAT PROBLEM.

For the past several weeks, whenever I post any media, I always take the time to add ALT text to it. Although it may be a little time-consuming, I believe it is important to describe the media for those who are visually impaired or have accessibility concerns. Do you also add ALT text to your media for accessibility reasons? #mastodon
