@miona I know this is probably the most obvious and cliché answer ever, but—the World 1-1 theme from the original Super Mario Bros. will always be the gold standard of level one themes for me.

Funny enough, despite its popularity, it’s weirdly hard to find a version that sounds the way I remember it. This comes the closest, IMHO.

Look, I know it ain’t much, and I know we’re accustomed to disappointment when it comes to BioWare as of late. But y’all, I’m hungry for more Mass Effect, so fucking hungry. I’m happy with scraps at this point. It’s better than nothing!

(Same with Dragon Age, TBH. But I’m more of a Mass Effect gal.)
