I asked DALL-E to create stickers to illustrate collaboration in the #Wikimedia movement. They are quite impressive but what's curious is the laptops almost always wind up with an Apple logo on them. Is this just an artifact that a lot of the training data in DALL-E are the ubiquitous Mac laptops? #Wikipedia

Why isn't Jimmy Buffett listed on the front page of #Wikipedia in "Recent deaths" while much less famous folks are? The answer may surprise you. On #Wikipedia, I'm fascinated by what I can only call "active indifference" by the English editors in covering (or not) the fall of FTX and #crypto crises. The wiki community is famous for the "piranha effect" of mobilizing quickly to capably and reliably edit about every notable storm, bombing, shooting, crime, or tragedy. But for #crypto topics, it's a spotty patchwork of half-finished timelines, summaries, and biographies.
