I just drank genderfluid, so excuse my intoxication. Looks like I’m a girl now?

I used to work on game engines and rendering in Rust, but I took an arrow to the knee. Now I’m doing front-end again, but let’s not talk about this. I also somehow ended up writing C# for fun? I don’t know how that happened. Life is full of surprises.

Excited for the @bevy scene format. I poked at it a bit and it's definitely something that would look really darn good in #KDL. This is using the proposed number type suffix syntax.

Once the format lands, I might write an adapter that lets you write scenes in KDL and hot reload w/o recompile!

@oli To me it feels like the current wave of machine learning applications is driven by very unimaginative people who look for ways to cheat the system by appearing to be doing the work expected of them but not actually having to do it.

Your suggestion is instead focusing on being able to actually allow achieving better efficiency or quality of work by people who care about their actual output, not just the appearance of being busy.

@fen I mean it’s clearly not a normal map. We could talk about all kinds of maps, but I think we would go off on a tangent.
Initial support for gizmos has been added to #GeometryNodes. This allows creating intuitive controls for node groups and geometry nodes modifiers that are shown in the 3D viewport. #b3d #devfund

Gotten a lot further with my terrain editing experiment. Rocks are now clustered together, creating larger flatter areas. Rock walls are also angled a bit based on their size, creating a bit more variation.

I’ve also improved the editing tools: made the add/remove a bit more organic and added a smoothening tool.

Also added sky, water and beaches
