⚡ Once a critical node in the city’s power grid, Aboukir ectrical substation transformed and redistributed high-voltage electricity to central Paris.
In the foreground you can spot a high-voltage oil circuit breaker. This rolling cart was a safety system. If a fault occurred, the breaker would open inside a tank of insulating oil, preventing electric arcs.

🏔️ Perched atop one of Croatia’s most surreal monuments, we stood where seel meets sky. The Petrova Gora memorial, a decaying futuristic giant, rises defiantly from the forested hills.
Built in the early 1980s to commemorate the anti-fascist uprising during WWII, this monument was never truly finished, and yet, here it is, standing, weathered by time and conflict.

🚇 Neon Depths : Step into the bowels of Paris, in this charged atmosphere, a MP14 train stands still, glowing red like a vessel caught in time.
Line 14, originally named METEOR, was launched in 1998 as the first fully automated line in Paris. The MP14 trains are the latest generation: sleek, efficient, and futuristic.

🏭 Powerplant T
Stepping into the control room of powerplant T after the huge turbines room was such a pleasure contrast!
This thermal powerplant was commissioned in the 1920's. It played a crucial role in supplying electricity to the Milan area for decades.
