The story of the last occupants is unknown, inside a book I discover the name Jacqueline. She led a simple life and perhaps left in the 1980s or 1990s.

What stories happened on the blue stairs?

Chapelle des Pelotes, an abandoned chapel in northern France.

The seminary and the chapel closed in the 1990s. At this time there was a “crisis of faith” in France; the number of practising Catholics and new baptisms began to decline in the late 1980s and 1990s.

Many churches were closed during this period of upheaval in the church. Chapelle des Pelotes was one of those casualties of the changing political and religious climate in France.

🎥🎭 Cine Teatro Blue, a collapsing ruin that was once a vibrant cultural venue in Portugal.

The roof collapsed many years ago, and now vegetation grows in front of the stage. Having been abandoned for many years, it now faces an uncertain future.

Will it be left to collapse entirely? At the moment, such an outcome seems to be the most likely destiny for this crumbling building.
